Lanny Scroggins
Memorial Scholarship Fund

On April 19th 1995, Lanny Scroggins, 46,  became one of the 168 casualties of the terrorist bombing of the Oklahoma City Alfred P. Murrah Federal building.  Each and every one of those killed in this tragedy left behind family and friends who knew and loved them. Lanny was no exception.

Lanny was a member of the Holdenville High School graduating Class of 1967.  Because of the person he was, the other members of the Class of 1967 have established a scholarship fund to honor his memory.

 Scholarships are awarded from this fund to assist selected graduating seniors from Holdenville High School who, otherwise, would not have the opportunity to further their education.  In this way we feel that we are honoring Lanny in a way that he would most approve of.....by helping others.

Each year, the Class of 1967 holds  Fund Raising Events to add to the Scholarship fund. Individual and Business/ Corporate Donations are also accepted and may be sent to:
